A 3 cm EVA foam insulation core wraps the main compartment, holding ice and chilled drinks for up to 36 hours in normal outdoor conditions. That is tuned for the way a backpack cooler actually gets used — day fishing, an overnight camp, a long hike to a spot — where you want dependable cold without the weight of a hard cooler. Pre-chilling the bag and using block ice extends that window further.
This is a cooler you carry on your back, so the harness matters. Padded shoulder straps spread the load evenly for extended outdoor use, keeping a full 45L of ice and drinks comfortable over uneven ground where a tote would have to be set down again and again. We HF-weld the main compartment and food-grade liner into a seamless build, fit the roll-top and UTX buckles, then assemble the padded harness, front pocket, gear webbing, bottle opener and reflective trim. Before a batch ships, we inflate the sealed compartment to 0.05 Bar internal pressure to confirm the seal, run an ice-retention check against the 36-hour target, and pull-test the straps, buckles and attachment points. The welded liner and the harness anchors are the two areas we inspect hardest, because a cooler you wear has to stay both cold and comfortable under load.
